Welcome in Greece!
We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay.
You will stay in a charming 3* hotel with traditional architecture, with a swimming pool and sea view, close to the port and the center of Mykonos.
Depending on your arrival time, you can take the opportunity to explore Chora (the island's capital) on foot from your hotel. Optionally, we can arrange a tour of the center for you. An easy hike to admire the views of the surrounding countryside and neighboring islands is also possible.
Welcome to Amorgos, the easternmost island of the Cyclades
After breakfast, we will take you to the port of Mykonos to catch the ferry to Amorgos.
On your arrival on the island, you will collect your hire car from our partner to explore the island at your own pace. You will stay in rooms at the Vigla Hotel overlooking Aegiali Bay, or in a villa depending on the number of people in your group, for 3 nights.
Amorgos, the easternmost island of the Cyclades, resembles a natural and inaccessible fortress. This volcanic island, with its spectacular landscapes of steep coasts, coves with crystal-clear water and hiking trails leading to unique viewpoints, is bound to impress. It was in fact chosen for the filming of the movie The Big Blue because of its wild side.
Exploring Katapola
There is no better introduction than exploring this peaceful town by the water. You will be lulled by the rhythm of the calls for the characteristic religious ceremony, and you can follow the locals on this pilgrimage to learn more about their customs.
Meals: Breakfast
Visit the sights of Amorgos
Although nature dominates Amorgos, the island is not lacking in cultural heritage. The unique monastery of Panagia Chozoviotissa, built on the slope of a cliff several hundred meters above the sea, offers a magnificent panorama, while the small villages of Tholaria and Lagada, with their steps and arched passages, will amaze you. Sit down in a small tavern and you will receive a warm welcome.
Meals: Breakfast
The coasts and coves, and…a cookery class!
In the morning, prepare your lunch during a cookery class using local products. Immerse yourself in the local culture by meeting the locals.
Snorkeling and diving
Amorgos is also a favorite place for scuba diving, and Luc Besson, the director of The Big Blue, will not be the first to tell you so! Indeed, the island is renowned for its excellent visibility in the water (up to 50 m) with a depth ranging from 6 to 80 m. The Marina wreck is a perfect spot for beginners, as it is very well preserved and covered with coral. As an option, we can organize a first dive or a snorkeling trip for you.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Welcome to Sifnos, an island off the beaten track
You can do some last-minute shopping and visit the bustling town of Aegiali, if your ferry timetable allows, and watch the early risers going about their business.
You return your hire car and board a new ferry to Sifnos.
When you arrive on the island, you pick up your hire car from our partner and explore the island at your leisure.
Sifnos is a Greek island in the south-western Cyclades archipelago in the Aegean Sea, not far from Serifos, Milos and Antiparos, a few hours by boat from the mainland.
The must-sees on this Greek island, which is relatively unknown to the public, are:
Apollonia and the old quarter of Artemonas
Apollonia is the capital of Sifnos. It is made up of five hamlets, which have expanded over time. You will find all the architectural elements of the Cyclades: winding alleys, flower-filled courtyards, square whitewashed houses, white churches with blue domes, etc. The old town of Apollonia is called Artemonas.
You will spend a pleasant evening in one of the taverns recommended by our team.
Meals: Breakfast
Walk to Kastro and enjoy a wonderful sunset
To visit Sifnos, there is nothing better than to start with one of the island's historical gems. The former capital of Sifnos, Kastro, is a 14th century Venetian citadel and perhaps one of Sifnos' most beautiful sights. Lose yourself in its narrow streets and don't miss the ruins of the ancient acropolis and the town's small archaeological museum.
The monastery of Agios Georgios
The small monastery of Agios Georgios is an ideal place to enjoy the beauty of a sunset over the Aegean Sea. From the port of Chersonissos to the monastery is just a ten-minute walk. Then follow a small path that leads to the edge of the island.
Meals: Breakfast
Hiking and exploring the creeks
Sifnos has one of the most extensive networks of hiking trails, with about 100 km of marked trails. There is something for all tastes and ages! Therefore, it would be a shame not to take advantage of them. Some lead to lush green coves.
For a perfect end to your walk, head to the chapel of the Seven Martyrs, a jewel of the island overlooking the sea.
Meals: Breakfast
Return to Mykonos
You return your rental car. After enjoying the atmosphere of the port, you board the ferry and return to Mykonos for one last night.
Upon your arrival in Mykonos, you will be welcomed again and transferred to the same accommodation as your departure, subject to availability.
The next day, we will transfer you to the airport by private vehicle. We hope you had an unforgettable trip to our country that we love so much.
