Our tour starts at the time of arrival in Ecuador, a specialized guide will pick us up at Mariscal Sucre airport on the outskirts of the city of Quito to accompany us to our hotel.
QUITO – BAÑOS / CANYONING RÍO BLANCO
The guide will pick you up after your breakfast to start your day’s adventure trip. You will head south to the city of Baños, known as the outdoors capital of Ecuador. This small town is known for two things: naturally heated thermal baths – the namesake of Baños, Ecuador – and adventure sports! Spend the afternoon canyoning at Casahurco. Enjoy a wet, wild, and fun day full of adventure! Casahurco is one of the most thrilling sites in Ecuador and it is known as one of the world’s top locations for canyoning. The tour will be accompanied by a professional and certified guide and all the equipment. Return to Baños city for overnight

RAFTING TOUR
Today you will start with a half-day rafting tour lower Pastaza River. Live an adrenaline-filled experience with unique landscapes at the entrance of the Amazon rainforest. Will begin with an introduction to kayaking to discuss the equipment and general safety guidelines. Once ready the boat will push off from shore and within moments you will find yourself being drenched in the first rapids, depending on the climate it can be in the high or low part of the Pastaza River. After this first shot of adrenaline, the fun continues as you crash through the walls of the river and drift silently along sheer river cliffs. During the trip, you’ll stop on an expansive beach by the side of the river for a snack. At the end of the adventure, your guide will share some photos and videos and take you back to Baños.

WATERFALL AVENUE BIKING AND CANOPY
We start from Baños to Rio Verde 18 km, most of the ride is downhill. After 20 minutes biking, we will arrive to the first Agoyan waterfall, we will make a brief stop to take pictures, and continue with our ride our next stop will be the Manto de la Novia where we have a cable car that takes us over the impressive canyon of the Pastaza River, we have an unparalleled view of the Manto de la Novia. After arriving at kilometer 18 we will be in the Verde River where we will visit the impressive waterfall of Pailon del Diablo. On the way back to Baños, you will have the chance to fly over the canyon of the Pastaza River and experience a trip full of adrenaline and fun by doing the zip line activity.

QUILOTOA CRATER LAGOON – QUITO
Today we´ll say good bay to the adventurous city of Baños and will go to the Andes where we will visit the picturesque volcano lagoon Quilotoa. You have the option to walk along the crater’s rim or hike down a path to the crater lake. The return can become a bit longer, so you have the option to rent a mule for the uphill hike. We then continue our journey to Quito.

CABLE CAR RIDE / MIDDLE OF THE WORLD
After breakfast this morning, you will be able to hop on the cable car "Teleferico" which brings you up to 4.000 m on the Pichincha volcano, from where you can enjoy a spectacular view over the city and the surrounding mountains. If you want to, you can have a short walk, or just take some pictures from different viewpoints. After these visits, we will continue to the north of the city to visit the equator to have the satisfaction of being photographed with one foot in each hemisphere or raising our hands to generate the illusion of holding the sphere that is in the top of the Equatorial Monument. We will return to the hotel in the afternoon to get ready for the next day´s adventure and overnight.

PARAGLIDING/ VISIT TO OLD TOWN
After breakfast, the guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the Lumbisí area in Cumbaya Valley at the east side of Quito. Here we will have a tandem paragliding flight. With a glider large enough to hold two people, an instructor, and a passenger. Each person is seated comfortably in their own harness which is attached together, with the passenger in front and the pilot behind. After this last adventure activity, we will take a city tour through the beautiful and magical historical area of Quito, the capital of Ecuador that has outstanding architecture in addition to the largest and best-preserved historic center in South America. You will visit the Basilica, one of the best representations of the neo-Gothic style. Continue to the Panecillo, a natural elevation of 3.000 meters over sea level with the monument of the Virgin of Quito on the top. On a clear day, we´ll see some of the most popular mountains of the Volcanoes avenues like Cotopaxi, Illinizas, Rumiñahui, Corazon. Then continue the tour to the main square, where we will find the Carondelet Palace (the president’s residence), the Cathedral, and the City Hall. Walking through the “Seven Cruises Street” will get to the La Compañia de Jesus church with its spectacular golden decoration and San Francisco church with its traditional stories. Late in the afternoon return to your hotel.

TRANSFER OUT QUITO / INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT
If you still have a little time in the morning, take the opportunity to buy the last few souvenirs on a stroll through the city. A driver will take you to the airport in time before your flight. Make your way home with countless impressions and memories. ¡See you soon and hasta luego!
