HD Bike Tour Southern District
Going to the south we’ll show you the history of the beginnings of Buenos Aires as a city. Its traditional houses, streets and locals will offer you the real essence of the original “barrios”. This tour visits the neighborhoods of San Telmo, La Boca, Puerto Madero, the nature reserve* and Monserrat. Important: the Nature Reserve is closed on Mondays, rainy days or when the park authorities consider it is important to do so. This is why we can’t guarantee that it will be always included in the tour. In that case our guides will modify that portion of the tour, selecting an alternative enjoyable route for you. *You have to go on your own way to the meeting point in San Telmo. If you would like to include the transfer to the meeting point, please check with us.

On this tour, take the scenic route as you sail down the Rio de la Plata and around the Tigre Delta, explore the city of Tigre, then return to the city by minibus, stopping in San Isidro on the way. Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Buenos Aires and a brief transfer to the port. Traveling in a premium class motorboat, sail along the Rio de la Plata and admire the views as you navigate through the northern neighborhoods and continue upstream in the Tigre Delta. Enjoy a traditional Argentine sweet "alfajor" with a black coffee on board as you glide through the islands, the houses on stilts and the floating markets of the delta, and after a cruise of approximately 1.5 hours, arrive in Tigre. Welcome to the Argentine capital of rowing clubs, TIGRE, where you can enjoy a traditional Argentinean snack, empanadas, at the Vivanco restaurant in the Italian rowing club. Then we spend some time sailing in the "Puerto de las Frutas", Port of Fruits, before we start our return journey to Buenos Aires. On the way, stop in San Isidro for a walking tour of the historic city and visit the famous San Isidro Cathedral. Back in Buenos Aires, your tour ends with the delivery of the hotel.

The park was created in 1934 with the main aim to protect the majestic Iguazu Falls. In 1984, the UNESCO declared this place Natural World Heritage due to the beauty of the scenery and the biological diverse in this subtropical rainforest. The visit to the Iguazu National Park can be done via 3 circuits and on catwalks, best known as Lower Path, Higher path and the Devil ́s Throat Path. The distances range from a bird’s eye point of view of The Devil’s Throat together with several Brazilian rapids, to spectacular close-ups to other falls. This walk has breathtaking sceneries from a cliff-point outlook and this is the less effort demanding walk of the three traditional ones. No steps along the way. (Approximate duration: 1 hour). The Devil’s Throat has to be access via the Ecological Jungle Train, and everyone must get off at the stop named after this waterfall. From there, there is a stroll along the catwalk which is a winding path that goes around the islands for 1,100 meters (0.7 miles) and ends in the large balconies located on the edge of falls. There are no steps along the path. (Approximate duration: 2 hours). Great Adventure Navigation included – Shared service. The Great Adventure is a unique trip that combines the whole essence of the Iguassu National Park in one ride: the rainforest and the waterfalls.
