Arrival in the international airport “Manas” (Bishkek). Domestic flight to Osh. Meeting at the airport of Osh. Transfer and check in at the hotel after 14:00. Leisure time.
Osh, known as the "southern capital", is the second-largest city in Kyrgyzstan, located at an altitude of 963 meters above sea level, on the southeastern edge of the fertile Ferghana Valley, right at the foot of the Pamir-Alay mountains.
Depending on your arrival time, we recommend taking a self-guided walk through the city center. You can visit the local bazaar or the shopping street filled with dozens of shops and street food options. If you’d like, you can also pick up a tourist SIM card with an Internet package (it works perfectly in the Pamir Mountains) or take the stairway trail up to the sacred Suleiman-Too Mountain, which takes about half an hour to reach the viewpoint at 1092 meters. From there, you'll enjoy stunning panoramic views of the entire city of Osh. At this viewpoint, you'll find a massive flag of Kyrgyzstan waving and a small mosque called Babur's house (15th-16th centuries), who was the grandson of Tamerlane. The setting of this mountain right in the city center adds to its appeal, and if you go closer to sunset, you'll catch the most breathtaking views.
Overnight at the hotel.
Transfer to the Pamirs and "Edelweiss Meadow" yurt camp (3600 m).
After breakfast, there will be a short briefing. Necessary documents and permits will be handed over, and there will be a visit to a supermarket before heading out.
Transfer to the Pamirs and the "Edelweiss Meadow" yurt camp along the Pamir Highway, ranked among the top 10 most scenic roads in the world by National Geographic. Be sure to grab a window seat as you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of fiery red mountains, crimson rivers, the vastness of the Alay Valley, the dizzying switchbacks of the Taldyk Pass (3600 m), and, finally, the snow-covered North Face of Lenin Peak (7134 m).
Arrival at the yurt camp located at Edelweiss Meadow (3600 m), offering the best views of Lenin Peak. Accommodation and lunch.
Later, take a walk to Lukovaya (Leek) Meadow (3800 m), a protected alpine area that once hosted a climbing camp. Today, it is home only to marmots and wild green onions.

After descending from the pass, the trail flattens out, running almost horizontally and parallel to the left moraine. The journey includes a river crossing, followed by an ascent to the trail leading to Lenin Glacier. From there, the route progresses along the glacier itself, leading to "Solnechniy" Camp 1 (4400 m), located on the medial moraine.

Ascent to Yukhin Peak (5130 m).
Trekking time: 6–7 hours; altitude difference: +730 m, -730 m.
Stage 1: Starting from Camp 1 (4400 m) on the middle moraine of the Lenin glacier. Traversing the glacier crosswise and beginning to ascend the left (orographically) moraine of the Lenin Glacier.
Stage 2: Ascending the moraine’s ridge. The slope’s steepness reaches 20–25°. Entering a gentler area and crossing it towards the southern slope – to a wide couloir leading directly onto the summit of Yukhin Peak (5130 m).
Stage 3: Ascending the right (in the direction of the movement) side of the couloir, the slope’s steepness reaches 30° in some places. Most of the time we walk on snow, in some places on scree of small or medium-size stones. Left turn after the emergence from the couloir. After walking for some 15meters on a narrow snow-covered ridge we reach the upper plateau just beneath the peak and the summit proper.
Stage 4: The group will descend the mountain along the same route as they climbed it.
