Get acquainted with the capital city from Tiananmen Square, the political center and symbolic of China. Nearby, the Forbidden City is an architectural wonder full of traditional Chinese halls, courtyards, gardens, and temples. Walk out from the Gate of Divine Prowess, get across a street, and climb up to the top of Jingshan Park, you will then be rewarded with spectacular panoramas of the ancient royal complex. As the night falls, head to the Red Theater and immerse yourself in the cultural show at Chinese Kung Fu World.

Focus the day on the Mutianyu section of the legendary Great Wall, about two hours away from the city center. There, a cable car will take you up and save you a lot of energy for more hikes to enjoy the majestic views of the rolling mountains stretching away with the winding walls. On the way back, have a detour to the Sacred Road, an integral part of the Ming Emperor’s mausoleum.

Wake up early for a local food market to try some local snacks and then continue to the Temple of Heaven, where the feudal emperors annually worshiped Heaven and prayed for a good harvest. After a short break at a pearl store, get to the railway station for your high-speed train to Xi'an. Upon arrival, take a private transfer to your hotel for check-in and rest.

Meet the Terracotta Warriors today to marvel at the mighty army of Qing Shi Huang, the first emperor who unified ancient China in 221BC. These life-sized clay soldiers were all handcrafted without the use of advanced tools and guarded the tomb of Qing Shi Huang until it was discovered in 1974. In the afternoon, return to the city and have a short stop at a jade shop. Later, you will explore the well-preserved ancient City Wall by bicycle. At the end of the tour, spend some time wandering around the Muslim Quarter, with chances to try local street food.

Spend the morning visiting the Drum Tower and Tang Bo Art Museum. You will have opportunities to enjoy Chinese folk music inside the tower and enjoy a free calligraphy class in the museum. After that, get to the railway station to get on the high-speed train to Chengdu. On arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel by a local guide and driver.

Today, the whole daytime will be dedicated to the famous Leshan Giant Buddha, about 2 hours away from Chengdu. This massive Buddha is carved directly into the cliff face overlooking the intersection of the Minjiang, Qingyi, and Dadu rivers. You can climb up to the top of the hill to see the statue closely. An optional boat ride will provide you with a chance to see the panoramic view. Return to the city in the late afternoon and join the Lost Plate Food Tour to explore the local life on the tuk-tuk.

Chengdu - Lijiang
This morning, you will have a warm time with adorable pandas at the Panda Breeding Research Base. We recommend starting early because these adorable creatures are more active between 8:00 and 10:00 am. After that, proceed to the airport for your flight to Lijiang. On arrival, take a private transfer to your hotel, check in, and rest.

Today you will be escorted to explore the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the sacred land in the heart of Naxi. Take a cable car up to 4506 meters above sea level, from where you can challenge yourself to ascend to the summit of 4680 meters. After getting down to the foot of the mountain, enjoy an Impression Show and then head to Baisha Village to see the ancient Baisha Mural Paintings. Finally, take some time to relax in the quiet Shuhe Old Town.

This morning, take a 2.5-hour drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge, a scenic canyon on the Jinsha River. En route, you will stop at the First Bend of the Yangtze River, where the fast-flowing river turns 180 degrees, forming a spectacular V-bend. Upon arrival in the Upper Gorge, you will have the chance to walk along the path to listen to the rapids of the Jinsha River roaring through the narrow valley and take in the stunning scenery closely from the observation platform. After the tour, get back to Lijiang for the night.

Lijiang - Dali
Stroll around the Old Town of Lijiang in the quiet morning, the best time to enjoy the cobbled streets, stone bridges, water-wheel-driven canals, and ancient buildings. Stop at the Mansion of family Mu located in the center of the old town. It is a landmark of the ancient city, integrating the Han architectural style with the craftsmanship of local ethnic minorities. Later, visit the Museum of Dongba Culture for the traditional culture of the Naxi. After that, take a scenic drive for about 4 hours to your Dali hotel.

The tour will take about 5 to 6 hours, including 2 hours' cycling and stops at the Three Pagodas, Xizhou minority village, and any other place whenever you want to take photos or have rest. Today will be dedicated to Stone Forest, about 1.5 hours away from the city center. Covering an area of more than 500 km2, it is a typical karst landscape formed after millions of years of geological changes. Follow your tour guide to walk around the forest, enjoying the unique natural scenery and listening to its touching legend of Ashima and its unique minority culture. Stop at Jingxing Bird Market and then get back to the hotel for a rest.
