Airport Transfer


Welcome to Bogota! One of our representatives will be waiting for you at the airport to drive you to your accommodation. You’ll have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2

Bike City Day Trip (B)


Today, you will explore the city on a 4-hour bike tour! Make your own way to the bike tour office 30 minutes before the tour starts so you can receive important information. This English-speaking guided tour includes a visit to the fruit market, tejo game (beverage not included) and visit to the famous graffiti walls.

Transfer to Manizales (B)


After breakfast, please make your own way to the bus station in order to catch your bus trip to Manizales, once there you’ll enjoy the rest of the day at leisure!

Day 4

Coffee Tour (B/L)


Make your way to the meeting point between 8:45 - 9am, as today's exciting coffee tour starts at 09:30hrs and lasts approximately 4 hours. Please don't forget to bring your passport! This activity includes an exciting shared coffee tour at Hacienda Venecia and lunch at the main house. Tonight you'll be staying in the beautiful Hacienda Venecia where you'll also have the opportunity to relax and have fun in the pool of the Hacienda!

Day 5

Free Day in Manizales (B)


Today you will enjoy a free day in Manizales! There is a return shuttle service from Hacienda Venecia at 17:30 hrs which brings you back to Manizales at approximately 18:00hrs. If needed, there is an earlier service at 14:00hrs which brings you to the highway from where you can get frequent public transportation service to Manizales.

Day 6

place Day 6: Manizales - Ibague, Colombia

Transfer to Ibague (B)


After breakfast, please make your own way to the bus station to board your bus trip to Ibague. Once there, one of our representatives will pick you up and drive you to a rural farm to spend the night. Get ready for your volunteering project!

Day 7

Begin your volunteering experience (B/L/D)


Today you will start this amazing experience! During the morning, you will volunteer in a foundation located in a neighborhood within the city and we will carry out community work with children in vulnerable conditions. During the afternoon, we will take you to enjoy a food and cultural tour of the city where we will taste typical foods of Tolima and visit emblematic and historical sites of the city.

Day 8

Volunteering Experience (B/L/D)


Today, you'll help out in a foster home where there is a homemade vegetable garden. You can plant seeds, do maintenance work and harvest what has been produced. In addition, you will be able to interact with local people who live and work at the foster home.

Day 9

Volunteering Experience (B/L/D)


You will carry out two different activities in a place 20 minutes from Ibague, where you can make “panela” from the moment the cane is ground up until the product is finished. Then, you will have a fun experience in a goat farm through corrals, feeders and paddocks. Moreover, you will help to prepare and taste all the products that are made based on goats.

Day 10

Volunteering Experience (B/L/D)


You will visit the Combeima Canyon in the zone of Los Nevados National Natural Park located at 2,200 meters above sea level and full of biodiversity. Here, we will visit viewpoints, taste traditional sweets, ride a cable car to visit an agritourism farm, a village museum with elements found in the river and a handicraft factory.

Day 11

Volunteering Experience (B/L/D)


During the morning, we will take you to enjoy an ecological waly and tree planting activity in a tropical dry forest area, where you can appreciate animals of the region, streams, waterfalls and lots of nature! During the afternoon, you will visit a cocoa (chocolate) transformation plant, located in a natural reserve 15 minutes from Ibague.

Day 12

Today marks your last day in the volunteering project, we hope you enjoyed every second of it! Now, it’s time for you to continue your journey, we will drive you to the bus station and you will go back to Bogota. Once there, please make your own way to your accommodation.
