Today prepare to discover Folegandros' pristine beaches! Whatever your choice, fine pebbles or golden sand, you’ll find the water inviting and clear blue.
Angali, Agios Georgios, Vardia, Livadaki, Hochlidia, Katergo are just few of the gorgeous and unspoilt beaches on the island. The beaches in Folegandros remain free of umbrellas, sun loungers and beach bars so make sure you carry some picnic with you.
You could get round the beaches with public bus, walk or get a little boat to those not accessible by bus.
Above Hora, you follow a striking white zigzag path across the face of the mountain, that leads you to a special Folegandros landmark, the Church of the Panagia. The walk is gentle and short; and the rewards are great. The church is a rare example of Aegean ecclesiastical architecture, with three domes. The view is perhaps the best in Folegandros and one of the most iconic in the Cyclades.
During your stay in Folegandros you shouldn't miss to visit the lighthouse in Cape Mihelo. It's been operating since 1912 and is accessible by foot. The view is extraodinary as the entire Aegean unfolds in front of you.
