Breakfast. In the morning you will be transferred to the town of Chichicastenango. Upon arrival in Chichicastenango, your local guide will join you to explore the largest indigenous market in the entire region, it is very colorful and famous for the diversity of products. During the town visit, you will discover the Church of Santo Tomás, known for its religious syncretism between the Catholic faith and the Mayan ancient worldview. Consider that the photographs inside both temples are forbidden. Local lunch included. In the afternoon transfer from Chichicastenango to Panajachel. Arrival in Panajachel, a small town that is located on the shores of the picturesque Lake Atitlan. You can walk on Santander Street where there are all kinds of restaurants, bars, and handicraft sales. Night accommodation at a selected hotel.

You will walk to the pier to take the boat to the village of San Juan la Laguna, where you will have a guided visit to the cooperative community of women weavers who still practice ancient techniques of the elaboration of the different traditional textiles. At the end of the visit, you will return by boat to the town of Panajachel.

Around mid-day enjoy a Belize style picnic and take a time to relax on this beautiful beach or continue exploring the underwater world of this Caye.
