Pick up at your hotel at 7:00 AM. Drive about 3.5 hours to Ninh Binh and into Cuc Phuong National Park. A visit to the Primate Rescue Center followed by lunch. Early check into your room if it is available.

We enjoy some trek within the park this afternoon; insect and reptile spotting along the way. Back to the Park Centre in the late afternoon for shower and dinner. Stay overnight at the very simple park guesthouse.

We have breakfast at 8:00 AM near your guesthouse then some free time to enjoy a morning stroll or some more relaxation before our visit to the Botanical Gardens and the oldest forest in Vietnam. Later, transfer onto Trang An – world heritage site to take an enjoyable rowboat trip meandering through the towering limestone peaks and right into the limestone caves. Rest and lunch at a local restaurant then 2.5 hour transfer to Nam Dinh. Arrival at the homestay at about 5:00 PM

Breakfast with the local family before heading on our boat trip through Xuan Thuy national park along the ramsar forest, going through the mangrove forest, chances to see different type of birds here such as Black-faced Spoonbill, Spoon-billed Sandpiper, Spotted (Nordmann's) Greenshank, Saunders's Gull and Asian Dowitcher. 

Lunch at a local farmhouse to learn more about the aquaculture here. We spend our afternoon at walking around the village of Giao Xuan to explore their culture, traditions and current society. Dinner and spend our second night at the same homestay.

Departure for Ha Long Bay is around 8:00 AM in a shared van. Arrive at the port around 12:30 PM. Welcomed on board, you are taken to your cabin before the trip briefing while you cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay and admire the fascinating formations. Visit Thien Canh Son cave. Then relax at our secluded island-beach or explore by kayak. Later you return back to the boat just in time to watch the beautiful sunset from the top deck before enjoying the bay’s freshest seafood dinner.

Early risers can enjoy the sunrise and the quiet breath-taking beauty of Bay’s landscape with towering limestone. You have breakfast at around 8:00 AM before our short rowboat by the locals of the bay.

Lunch on the boat as we slowly cruise back to boat pier. Hit the road before arriving back to Hanoi around 5:30 PM.
