Divided by Lalu Island, the lake got its name from the unique terrains that look like sun on one side and crescent moon on the other side. The area around the lake is also the home to the Thao people, a group of Taiwanese aborigines. Before lunch, enjoy a relaxing lake cruise by a motorboat. After lunch, we will head off to Taichung. Miyahara was once an ophthalmology clinic back in the day, today it is a restaurant and a retail store that serves traditional Taiwanese pastries, chocolates, bubble tea, and the locals’ favorite - ice cream! Rainbow Village was a small military dependents' housing community in the Nantun District of Taichung, now a creative park which is famous for its vibrantly painted houses and alleys. The quirky village is one of the most colorful spots in Taiwan and is a really fun place to visit. National Taichung Theater is an opera house designed by the famous Japanese architecture “Toyo Ito”. It is referred to as one of the most difficult to build because of the curved surfaces. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy a close-up view of the masterpiece, and the graceful and mysterious ambience created by the master. Fengjia Night Market is one of the most famous night markets in Taichung, with a variety of snacks that will make you drool. The clothing and accessories are also unique and fairly priced. In addition, the most fashionable mobile casing phones are also the cheapest in Taichung.

After that, enjoy a “wild” day in Leofoo Village Theme Park, one of the most popular amusement parks in Taiwan. The park features 4 areas: the Wild West, South Pacific, Arabian Palace and African Tribe. The Water Park is open during the summer. South Pacific is where they visitors can experience many exciting rides. The Great Pirate is the biggest pirate ship ride in Taiwan. Arabian Palace takes you on an Arabian journey with “One Thousand and One Nights”, to immerse yourself in the place where well-known bedtime stories come to life. Wild West is designed based on Tombstone Town of Arizona State, a famous mining town of the 19th century. Visitors may find many exciting rides in the Wild West, and experience the atmosphere of old western town in America. African Tribe is the only safari zoo in Taiwan where a wide range of more than 70 species and over a thousand wild animals can be seen. After the long fun and tiring day you will be heading back to your hotel.
