Day 1

place ARRIVE IN DELHI

Welcome to India! On arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel

Day 2

place DELHI - SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast you can explore the contrasts of New & Old Delhi with an English-Speaking guide, including drive past Presidents Palace, Houses of Parliament, and impressive India Gate with its eternal flame. Visit the Sikh Temple “Bangla Sahab Gurudwara” where the community kitchen serves free meals to thousands of people in a day. Continue towards Old Delhi with an English-Speaking Guide pausing on the way at Rajghat, the monument to Mahatma Gandhi erected on the site of his funeral pyre. Drive past Red Fort followed by a visit to Jama Masjid Mosque that can accommodate up to 20000 people at a given time and explore the Bazaars through the bustling alleys of 500 years old city – Chandni Chowk, where silver merchants ply their trade Visit Humayun’s Tomb - the monument that served as a model for the Taj Mahal and was beautifully restored by Aga Khan Foundation. Day 3

place DELHI / AMRITSAR (BY TRAIN AT 0720 AM / 0130 PM)

Transfer to the railway station in time to board the train to Amritsar. On arrival at the railway station, where you will be received by our REP who will be carrying your name PLACARD and later drive to the hotel. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. The city of Amritsar, which is home to the magnificent Golden Temple, exemplifies Punjab's heroic nature. Amritsar, also known as Ambassador, is the second-largest city in the Indian state of Punjab. Amritsar is recognized for its delectable street food in addition to the Golden Temple. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4

place AMRITSAR - SIGHTSEEING

In the morning you will visit the Golden Temple. The temple is the center of Sikh culture. There is a relaxed atmosphere here at all times of the day. Also visit the Jalia Wala Bagh, which has a historically outstanding significance in the colonial history of India. In the afternoon a trip to the Wagah border is planned. Every evening, the border closure is "celebrated" and on both sides, there are spectators who enthusiastically follow the parade of soldiers. A very special show with a unique atmosphere. On the way back to the hotel we visit the golden temple again. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

place AMRITSAR / DELHI (BY TRAIN AT 0455 / 1102 AM) – DELHI / AGRA (215 KMS)

Transfer to the railway station in time to board the train to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi railway station, you will be picked up by our REP & drive to the ancient Mughal capital – Agra. This drive will take about 3-4 hours via Yamuna Expressway. Upon arrival in Agra, Check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel

Day 6

place AGRA - SIGHTSEEING

You have an early start this morning by going out to the Taj Mahal (which remains closed every Friday) with an English-speaking guide, to experience the rising sun. This is the most spectacular time to see the Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world, an exquisite monument of love, remarkable for its perfect proportions, which was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved consort Mumtaz Mahal. This beautiful mausoleum in pure white marble is an architectural marvel (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Return to the hotel for breakfast & enjoy the surroundings. After lunch visit Agra Fort (World Heritage site) with an English-speaking guide - a magnificent citadel with marble palaces, ornate alcoves & terrace pavilions. Agra fort is also known as the Red Fort situated on the bank of river Yamuna. The fort was built in red stone; the fort stretches almost two kilometers on the bank of the Yamuna. Explore an Old city tour with an English-speaking guide, this is a walking tour in the old bazaar of Agra city, known as Kinari Bazaar. This bazaar belongs to the first capital of the Mughal emperor Akbar. It was founded & named Akbarabad by emperor Akbar. Here you can see & enjoy daily life/activity of local’s people by shopping of daily needs. Explore old streets, old shops, Jama Mosque, Temple, Clothes markets, Spice market & Old Havelis, etc Visit Mehtab Bagh (evening) along with an English-speaking guide, a popular area in the north of the compound of the Taj Mahal, Mehtab Bagh. The garden was one of the 11 gardens established by the Mughals near the river Yamuna. Ram Bagh was the first garden to be constructed. It is reported that Emperor Mughal, Shah Jahan, had seen this spot and opted to see the Taj Mahal from some distance. Mehtab Bagh gives you a spectacular night view of the Taj Mahal. Morning breakfast at the hotel and drive to Jaipur. Enroute Visit to Fatehpur Sikri, (UNESCO World Heritage site) - the deserted, but perfectly preserved sandstone city, built by Emperor Akbar but abandoned after only 15 years. This is a 500-year-old city built in red sandstone on the outer-skirts of Agra. Proceeding towards Chand Baori (Stepwell), located in Abhaneri. Chand Baori is known as one of the oldest, deepest & largest stepwells in India. Continuing towards Jaipur, the magical city carved out of the desert still blush pink even 273 yrs later. It was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727. Today it has become the most popular tourist destination in Rajasthan ‘making’ “Golden Triangle” (Delhi- Agra- Jaipur). After breakfast full day sightseeing of the pink city “Jaipur” with an English-speaking guide including Amber Fort- the final ascent to this ancient fort is made in truly royal style, on Jeep. In Amber, you will see magnificent palaces with walls covered with mirrored mosaics. Visit City Palace where the present Maharaja continues to live with its many regal courtyards, temples and pavilions, proceeding towards the world’s largest stone Observatory (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - The observatory consists of fourteen major geometric devices for measuring time, predicting eclipses, tracking stars' location as the earth orbits around the sun, ascertaining the declinations of planets, and determining the celestial altitudes and related ephemerides, drive past to the five-story Palace of the winds. In the evening, enjoy a cooking demonstration with a local family in Jaipur. Overnight at hotel
