Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
You will meet the Jewel Safaris representative at the airport or hotel if already in Uganda, have briefing on your safari and start your journey to South Western Uganda. You will have stops at places of interest including the equator for photography and stretching. Lunch in Mbarara and proceed arriving at the lodge later in the evening.

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
Following early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing on the Gorilla adventure. Grab your walking stick, drinking water and enter the forest sanctuary in search for Mountain Gorillas. You will be guided by knowledgeable rangers who share detailed information on Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and primate life. Meet the gentle giants and watch them as they go about their daily life, take photos and later return to the lodge. No doubt, an hour spent with the Gorillas is an unforgettable experience. Look out for other animals and forest birds including African green pigeon, African harrier hawk, Cinnamon-chested bee-eater, Crowned hornbill and Giant kingfisher Later, visit the Batwa community and have a unique cultural experience. The Batwa are hunter gatherers who used to live inside Bwindi Forest. You will be told ancient stories and get an insight into their culture and tradition through traditional dance performances.
