Airport Transfer


Welcome to Brazil! Today you will be picked-up at the airport and transferred to your accommodation in Rio de Janeiro.

Day 2

Carioca City Tour (B)


Today you will embark on an exciting city tour to see the best highlights of the city. Our day starts with an accommodation pick-up where you will be met by your professional English speaking tour guide. We will make the first stop of the day at the hang gliding landing area at Sao Conrado beach where the hang gliders land after they take off from Pedra Bonita. Admire the incredible views of the mountains from the coast and contemplate making time in your schedule for a paragliding session. From there, the mini-bus will take you to the Tijuca National Park and get a glimpse of the greenest tropical rainforest. This is the best spot to check how nature and urban areas can coexist. See waterfalls, tropical plants, trees and wildlife. Make a stop for lunch (not included) in Ipanema and transfer to the Christ The Redeemer Statue where you can take as many photos as your heart desires. Visit Santa Teresa, one of the oldest and most traditional neighbourhoods of Rio. See the well preserved original architecture and feel the character of this unique neighborhood. At the end of your Rio day tour you will see the colorful Lapa steps “Escadaria Selaron”, where Snoop Dogg shot his famous video for Beautiful. Finally, you will be offered two options. The first option is to be dropped off at the Sugarloaf Mountain where you can hop on the gondola and watch the sunset from the top of the hill (the ticket is not included in the package price) or choose to return to the door of your hotel.

Today, you will enjoy a day at your leisure in Rio de Janeiro, so you can explore the city and surroundings on your own.

Day 4

place Day 4: Rio de Janeiro - Ilha Grande, Brazil

Transfer to Ilha Grande (B)


Shuttle transfer from Rio de Janeiro accommodation to the main dock in Vila do Abraão in Ilha Grande. The transfer is in two parts: Rio to Cais de Conceição de Jacaré and Boat to Vila do Abraão. Once in Ilha Grande, please make your own way to your accommodation.

Day 5

Blue Lagoon Day Trip (B/L)


You need to walk to the Abraão pier where the tour begins. Today you’ll explore the Lagoa Azul (or Blue Lagoon), where you will experience a stunning locale that has preserved the wild and natural environment. Stop between two islands where you will have the chance to swim in transparent blue waters and marvel at beautiful backdrops of coral and a variety of colourful Brazilian fish. All this combines to make Lagoa Azul one of the most visited places at Ilha Grande. Then we will continue the tour stopping at the beautiful town of Freguesia de Santana. There you can discover lovely beaches in addition to the Church of Santana. Santana’s Town was the first of Ilha Grande to be populated. We will then head towards the amazing Japariz beach where you will enjoy a tasty lunch.

Transfer to Paraty (B)


After breakfast, you will take the shuttle to Paraty. Once there, please make your own way to your accommodation.

Schooner Boat Trip (B)


Depart from the colonial harbour at Paraty for a scenic ride into the Paraty Bay. Enjoy stopping along the way at several of the most beautiful beaches and islands in the bay of Paraty, all surrounded by dense rainforest. Enjoy four 40-minute stops at two beaches and two islands. Take advantage of these pristine natural wonders to go for a refreshing swim, snorkel among colourful tropical fish, or sunbathe on a relaxing sandy beach. Although the exact locations vary for each tour, depending on weather conditions and beach capacity, the tours could pass through the islands of: Comprida, Algodão, Cotia and also the beaches of Praia Vermelha, Praia da Lula, and Saco da Velha among many others.

Transfer to Foz do Iguacu (B)


After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport in order to take your flight to Foz do Iguacu.

Afternoon Brazil Iguazu Falls Tour (B)


Our guides take you to visit the wonderful Iguazu Falls, on the Brazilian side, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the falls. You will get close to the “Floriano”, “Deodoro” and “Benjamin” waterfalls and the walkways will also lead you to the “Santa Maria Falls”.

Day 10

Argentina Iguazu Falls Day Trip (B)


Today, explore the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls National Park. Witness the awe-inspiring beauty and power of nature. These falls, formed by a geological fault where the Iguazu and Parana Rivers meet, include the towering "Devil's Throat" cascade. The falls stretch over 3 kilometers, surpassing Niagara and Victoria Falls in size. The mist creates stunning rainbows. Walk the Circuito Inferior to get close and feel the spray. Take the train to "Devil's Throat" for a thrilling view. Consider optional boat trips, rafting, or hiking. Remember your camera, rain gear, and sunblock. Bring snacks and water. If time allows, visit the 3 frontiers overlook point to see Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil meet. Grab souvenirs before returning to Foz do Iguacu.
