Day 1

place Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger National Park, South Africa

O.R. Tambo Airport pick-up and Transfer to Kruger National Park (D)

Today you will be picked up at O.R Tambo Airport bus terminal at around 6:50 am. Travel for about 6 hours through African bush and scenic landscapes to the lodge. There will be two 15 minute comfort stops en route, in which will be able to buy snacks and refreshments. You will arrive in Hazyview at around 1:00 pm. The lodge driver will meet you at the drop-off point and transfer you to the lodge. This is a quick 5 – 10-minute drive. After check-in, you will have time to relax and freshen up before boarding an open-sided Landcruiser for an exciting introductory sunset game drive in Kruger National Park. The lodge is about 15 – 20 minutes drive from the Phabeni Kruger Gate. After your safari game drive, you return to the lodge where you can unwind, have drinks and relax. Dinner at the lodge restaurant.

Day 2

Full Day open vehicle game drive (B/D)


This morning you will enjoy coffee/tea and rusks before departing on a full day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza area). A packed breakfast is included. Game drives are in small groups in specially modified open sided land cruisers. The Skukuza area is rich in wildlife, and the elevated height of the 4×4 open-sided vehicle makes for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities.


Enjoy lunch at one of the park's restaurants (own account), before starting the afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park. During these game drives, you’ll see a wide variety of wildlife and have plenty of photographic opportunities.


After our tour, we’ll make our way to back to our lodge or camp. Enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Optional morning Game Drive and return to Johannesburg (B)


Today we will say goodbye to the fabulous Kruger Park. This morning you have a choice between another morning game drive or relaxing at the lodge and enjoying the great facilities it offers. Should you choose to stay at the lodge, you can enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast at the restaurant. If you join us on the morning safari, a picnic-style breakfast will be served at one of the picnic spots in the park. The morning game drive is entirely optional and on your own account (payable at the lodge), and it is a great way to spend your last morning on tour if you feel the need to see wild animals one last time.


You will be picked up at the lobby of the lodge at about 11:00 am for your transfer back to Johannesburg, with a couple of comfort stops on the way. Your drop-off at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo airport or accommodation will be at around 5:30 pm. Safe travels ahead!
