Day 1

place Welcome to Lapland!

Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland, is also known as the hometown of Santa Claus. The city is surrounded by arctic nature, full of Lappish culture and a wide range of activities. On your arrival at the airport a driver will wait for you in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name on it and will drive you to your accommodation. The journey takes about 10 minutes.

Day 2

place Full Day Lapland Adventure

Start your day at an authentic reindeer farm, meeting the herder family, feeding reindeer, and learning about Lapland's rich reindeer herding culture. Enjoy a short reindeer sleigh safari and warm up by the open fire with homemade salmon soup and hot drinks.

Next, head to the Husky farm, where you'll meet photogenic huskies and go on a thrilling husky-pulled sleigh ride through Lapland's snowfields. After the safari spend some time cuddling and taking photos with the friendly dogs.

In the evening, join the best Rovaniemi northern lights tour for a chance to witness the mesmerizing auroras. Your professional guide will take you to prime locations for aurora sightings, ensuring you have the best possible experience.

place Korouoma Canyon & Frozen Waterfalls Adventure

Today you will visit the beautiful Korouoma Canyon and get to the best spots to admire the frozen waterfalls. The protected reserve offers beautiful nature, picturesque snowy landscapes and …fun. Sometimes the best way of going down is by sledding down the little slopes created by the path. It’s your chance to try it out. Your guide will also tell you about the arctic nature, teach you some survival tips, and offer you all their passion for Lapland. Your guide will prepare an open fire and you will enjoy a delicious Finnish barbecue lunch. Duration of the tour is 7 hours.

Day 4

place Arctic Adventure

It’s time for a full snowshoeing adventure into the arctic wilderness. Your outdoor guide will teach you how to orientate in the wilderness, survive, and take advantage of your surroundings. Because one cannot survive without food, you will also drill a hole in the frozen lake and try ice-fishing. If you catch a fish, your guide will show you how to prepare it and grill it over the fire. Don’t worry if you are not a confident ice-fisher as a delicious Finnish barbecue snack will be prepared by your guide.  Duration of the tour is 4 hours.
