Flight Bali to Maumere
Upon arrival in Maumere Airport by flight from Bali , meet and greet your guide at arrival gate then continue to explore the surrounding area of Sikka Village by visiting Wuring fishing village, local church and traditional weaving process. Late afternoon drive back to Maumere for overnight.

Maumere to Moni
After breakfast, meet our guide at 08.00 am then drive further to Nilo Hill to see the statue of Mother Mary, the mother of all nations. The statue stands 18 meters tall, but with its pedestal and foundation, it is 28 meters. The 6-ton copper-clad statue was constructed on 2005 and becomes the highest statue in Sikka Regency. Afterwards continue to Koka Beach, hosting a backdrop of palm trees, powdery white sand and crystal clear water, it is a truly hidden piece of paradise. Vast cliffs and a sand bar break up the beach into 2 separate coves and each offers slightly different, yet equally breathtaking views. On the way to Moni, you will also visit one of the ancient villages, Jopu or Nggela. The villages consist of small tribes and each tribehas tokoh adat (prominent figures) who decide the rules the villagers must obey. The village is very religious (animistic) and villagers believe in many spirits. The villages are famous for the ikat handwoven, a special dyeing and weaving process used to pattern textiles. If time permits you may visit Kowanara village famous for its traditional Lionese houses, stone seats and traditional sacred cemetery. Afterwards drive further to Moni and spend your night here.

Moni to Riung
Early morning heading to the top of Mount Kelimutu. The three different colored lakes on its peak, have intrigued travelers for centuries. Moreover, the lake colors periodically change due to adjustments in oxidation, iron and manganese level. Science has long ago revealed that this causes the change of each lake’s color, but scientific explanations aside, there are many myths about the origin of Kelimutu, still a sacred place for the local people. Over the years, the three crater lakes have often changed color. One of the local myths has it that the changing colors are caused by neglected ancestral souls. From here, you will also enjoy beautiful sunrise (if the weather permits). Then drive back to hotel for breakfast, check out and further continue short driving to Murundao Waterfall. It could be reached by walking +/- 10 minutes from the main road, it has a height of 15 meters with stunning natural surrounding. Then continue driving to Nangapanda Beach with its pebble stones and here you will enjoy lunch at local restaurant before heading further to Riung for overnight.

Explore Pulau Tujuh Belas or "Seventeen Islands" in Riung
Today you will explore the surrounding Riung, famed for its beautiful coral gardens. The coast and the surrounding area of the town of Riung have become a national conservation area, and were even given the status of a national park and named Pulau Tujuh Belas, or ‘Seventeen Islands’ Sail by boat trip to Rutong and the water here is clear that you can see right down to the bottom where schools of fish swimming about amongst colourful coral reefs. You could also climb to the top of a hill located on Rutong to view the splendid scenery around you. Don’t forget your camera! Afterwards continue sailing to Tiga Island. The crystal-clear water makes it a perfect place for swimming, snorkeling, and underwater photography. The biggest island is the hilly Ontoloe, which is covered with short grass and a few trees, as well as fringed with mangroves. On the north coast of Ontoloe, you can observe the famous large fruit bats, called ‘flying foxes’, flying over the mangrove trees. A visit to Kalong, the ‘Flying Fox Island’, gives you the opportunity to see these fascinating animals as they fly into the sunset.

Riung to Bajawa
This morning you will continue your trip to Bajawa. Drive along local villages and you will see the daily life of the villagers or ceremonies (subject to availability). You may also interact with the local people if possible and allowed to stop and making pictures of them. Lunch will be served at local restaurant then continue to Soa Mengeruda hot spring. Enjoy your afternoon by swimming or just get in to the spring to enjoy the warm water that flows from a river under the shade of coconut trees. The spring water is believed to have curative effect for those suffering from skin conditions. However, the experience of taking a warm, soothing bath in a beautiful, natural atmosphere is definitely a true delight for your body and soul. Then drive further to Bajawa for overnight.

Bajawa to Ruteng
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will explore the surrounding traditional villages of Bajawa tribes. Firstly visiting Bena Villages, a megalithic village where people do preserve their ancestral spirits and way of life, which can be seen in their "Ngadhu" and "Bhaga". That are conical thatched roof huts symbolized their Male and Female ancestral spirits. Depart from Bajawa and on the way, some stops will be made such as a visit to arak destilation process in Aimere, which is made from the Lontar palm tree. Arak is a very important part of Florenese culture. No important event, ritual or ceremony takes place without Arak. Afterwards continue your visit to Ranamese Lake, a mountainous natural reserve, impresses with its dense forests and a 21-meter-deep crater lake at an altitude of 1220m. It is ideal for those who want to explore the Florinese highlands by trekking. It is also a perfect place for bird watchers. Ranamese Lake is situated in the middle of forest, surrounded by a lush vegetation of mosses, scrubs, tropical woods, and water plants. The climate is comfortably fresh. Its calm and clear water makes it easy to spot freshwater fish. Other prominent animals around the lake are the wild macaques. During the rainy season, the forest is ornamented with various colorful wild orchids. Then drive further to Ruteng for overnight.

Ruteng to Labuan Bajo
This morning drive to Golo Curu hill, the best spot to enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the city of Ruteng, the sawah (wet-rice fields), and the surrounding hills which are often covered by small clouds. The top of Golo Curu (‘welcome mountain’) can be reached easily on foot. After short walking, you can see graveyards: one for Catholics, one for Chinese and one in between for war heroes. Then drive to Labuan Bajo with stops in Cancar to view the spider web style rice terraces and further continue to Batu Cermin Cave. From the parking area, you will need to slowly walk 15 – 20 minutes. You have to step on rocks and then climb up 60 – 75 degrees steps to enter the cave. The cave is 75 x 5 m large, and contains stalactites and stalagmites. There is a hole, just enough for a person to go inside and have to crawl for 5 – 7 meters, then you can stand up again. The sunlight enters the cave through the hole then reflects to the stone wall as a mirror. That is why it's called Batu Cermin or Mirror Stone. Please note that this beautiful cave might not suit the elderly in their 65 up to 78 years old. The stairs and the wall are steep. The cave is dark but clients can use the flashlight inside the cave which is prepared by the local Ranger. The elderly can be bruised or stumble in the cave. To exit the cave, clients have to step out and then step down again to go to the main entrance. Afterwards drive to Bukit Cinta to take some pictures before heading to your next hotel in Labuan Bajo.

After breakfast, transfer to the harbor and continue cruising by local boat passing several small islands. Upon arrival in Rinca Island observe the Komodo dragons in their natural environment with fewer people to disturb them and an opportunity to observe other wild animals such as deer, horses, birds, wild buffaloes etc. Lunch will be served on board then boating to Bidadari and Kelor Island to swim or snorkel on clean and white sandy beaches where is also considered as the best spot for underwater life and corals. It is also famous for its serenity and unspoiled scenery, on which tourists can relax and perform trekking. Kelor is considered uninhabited. Due to this reason, visitors can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and unspoiled nature. The sea scenery is definitely top-notch Afterward, sail back to the harbor and drive back to the hotel.
