Day 1

place Welcome to Bergen

Bergen is the heart of the Fjords, the city between the seven mountains. The town is the perfect starting point to explore the best of Norwegian nature, one of Norway´s most populated cruise ship ports, the starting point for the coastal voyage, one end of the famous Bergen railway, and its reputation as the gateway to the Fjords.

Explore Bryggen, a great insight into the Hanseatic Era neighborhood, with its famous colorful warehouses.

Ride the Fløybanen funicular railway and reach Mount Fløyen for one of the most famous views of the city. You can explore the sprawling forests along the network of trails that start at the top funicular station.

Take a fjord cruise to visit the wonderful nature of the Osterfjord.

Visit some of the historical and art museums that this cultural town offers.

Day 2

place Explore Bergen with a Local and experience the town from the sea

Take your chance to see Bergen from a local perspective, with the help of a real "Bergenser", that will walk you around the town, sharing some historical and cultural insights, and showing the most incredible places, both famous and hidden.

Embark on an exclusive daily 2-hour tour that crosses the city fjord, with a beautiful view of Bergen and the surrounding seven mountains. On the way, the captain will inform you about Bergen and its surroundings, trading history, fortifications, old battles, shipyards, and a lot of other peculiarities. This tour can be customized as a private experience and the duration can vary between 2 and 6 hours.

Meals: Breakfast

Day 3

place Enjoy traveling like a Local by Bus and Cruise along the Hardangerfjord

Take a local bus from Bergen Bus Station to reach the small town of Norheimsund. Travel from there on a boat along the 179 km-long Hardangerfjord, also called the "Queen of Norwegian Fjords", to the village of Ulvik, the very heart of the fjord. During the trip, you will experience beautiful villages and settlements surrounded by majestic mountains with snow-capped peaks.

Meals: Breakfast

Day 4

place Guided Kayak Tour and Visit a traditional Western-Norwegian farm in Ulvik

Today you will explore Ulvik from a different point of view. The morning will start on a fun, guided kayak trip through a beautiful fjord landscape. Nothing better than seeing the fjord from sea level. Learn about historical events and basic survival skills needed in nature, as you paddle alongside some of the best sights of the area.

In the afternoon, visit Syse Gard, a farm located along the fruit and cider route in Ulvik. In the farm shop, you will find different types of jam, canned fruit, apple juice, cider, and lamb meat. If you travel there during the fruit season, you can buy freshly picked fruit.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks

Day 5

place Jump on a local bus heading to Voss and explore the extreme sports capital of Norway

Today is the time to take the road again and reach the lovely town of Voss, globally known as the extreme sports village.

A couple of local buses will take you there, surrounded by mountains landscapes this region only can offer.

Its environment invites you to take part in great experiences in a safe way, offering activities adapted for adventurers on all levels. Voss has also a rich cultural history and offers unique culinary experiences. Hiking, rafting, kayaking, and mountain biking are very popular in the region.

Day 6

place Feel the nature and follow the Viking footsteps on a guided hike to Sverrestigen

Experience this historic hike surrounded by dramatic nature.

You will be hiking in Raundalen Valley, a rare gem, just a few kilometers outside Voss. Here, in 1177, King Sverre Sigurdsson and his outnumbered army were forced to retreat by another army of angry farmers.

The trail starts close to a deep, narrow gorge that shapes an impressive entrance to the valley. You will reach the 730 meters high Klyvsnolten, to enjoy the unique panorama of all the mountains of Voss, then you will follow down through the peaceful forest to Klyve.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 7

place Viking Valley, UNESCO Nærøyfjord cruise and scenic train back from Flåm to Bergen

Take a local bus to reach the old Viking village of Gudvangen. You will go back in time and learn how Vikings lived, worked, and conquered other lands.

Walk the streets and become part of a living town, populated by an international community of Viking enthusiasts.

The dramatic UNESCO Nærøyfjord is one of the inner branches of the main Sognefjord, as well as the narrower one. Embark a silent zero emissions fjord cruise and sail for around 2 hours between Gudvangen and Flåm.

The 20 km long Flåm Railway between Flåm and Myrdal will offer views of spectacular nature, historical cultural landscapes, and extreme engineering skills. It is one of the world´s steepest stretches of line on normal tracks and is renowned for its turning tunnels that wind in and out from the mountains. The train ride takes you past the wild and beautiful Kjosfossen waterfall.

Myrdal is a station on the Bergen Line. A fast and scenic train will take you back to Bergen.
