Day 1

place Belfast, Bushmills Distillery & Giant’s Causeway

Upon arrival at Belfast Airport, and after claiming your luggage, our representative will greet you before assisting you with any luggage. You will then begin your journey to the northern coast of Northern Ireland, reaching Bushmills Distillery. In the county of Antrim, in a small Village of Bushmills you will discover the oldest working distillery in Ireland set on the banks of the Bush River. Over 400 hundred years, family and friends have kept to the philosophy that a small handcrafted process creates the smoothest whiskey. You will then stop at the Giant’s Causeway. Between 50 and 60 million years ago it is believed that a volcano eruption created Giant’s Causeway, leaving in its wake a dramatic collection of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. In the evening you will have the opportunity to explore the city of Belfast. In the heart of Belfast, you will be staying at the 5-star Merchant Hotel. It is both elegant with a modernised twist. Jameson brings its past to the future, creating the smoothest Irish whiskey. Next stop you will encounter St. Patrick's Cathedral. Founded in 1191 it is the National Cathedral of the Church of Ireland. Since Saint Patrick baptised Christian converts nearby over 1500 years ago, this holy site has been a place of spiritual encounter for countless generations.
