Day 1

Arrival Ushuaia, Airport pick-up & Pioneers night (D)


Upon arrival to Ushuaia, you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your accommodation where you will have time to get settled in. At 06:00 pm, you will be picked up from the hotel to Ushuaia Blanca. Once arriving at the complex, you will be receiving a briefing about the safe driving and the land as you are going to explore the beautiful surroundings by quadricycles. Marvel at the incredible landscapes while you cross rivers and lush forests. Then, enjoy a short walk before returning to the quadricycles and getting to the cabin Ernesto Krund, a replica of the refuge of the first postman on the island. Listen to the story of this pioneer while you enjoy a glass of hot wine and a delicious dinner. You will then return to the complex.

Day 2

Trekking to Esmeralda Lagoon (B)


Today, you will be picked up at 09:00 am and you will head towards the north where you will discover one of the main valleys of the island. There, enjoy a walk that will lead you to the stunning Esmeralda lagoon, hidden amongst mountains and glaciers. You will then make your way back to the city. If you are lucky, you may see beavers on the way.

Day 3

Tierra del Fuego National Park half day & Sailing the Beagle Channel (B)


Today, you will be picked up at 08:00 am and head towards the awesome Tierra del Fuego National Park. Marvel at the pristine nature in this incredible natural and historical monument. Get to know more about the place and the local history while you will walk along an interpretive trail. You will continue your way to the Lake Roca - Errazuriz before heading towards the Alakush Visitor Center. There, we will visit the interpretation room about the local fauna and flora and we will see the exhibition on the human occupation of the Park. You will then get some time to relax and get some beautiful views of the surroundings before reaching the end of the National Route 3 in Lapataia Bay. You will finally head towards the most southern post office in Ensenada Zaratiegui.


In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat ride to the Beagle Channel. We will leave the local seaport and head to Alicia Island, where you will spot sea lions. Our next destination will be Bird Island, home for hundreds of king and imperial shags. If you are lucky, you may even see fur seals on our way (depending on the season). You will then see the famous Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and appreciate a walk at Bridges Island. Admire the incredible wildlife and learn more about the native inhabitants, the Yamana. You will then walk to the highest panoramic point where you will get stunning views of the Beagle Channel. You will then return to your accommodation.

Day 4

Lakes off road tour (B/L)


After breakfast, you will be picked up at 09:00 am and leave Ushuaia to head through magnificent landscapes. You will first enjoy beautiful views of a glacial origin valley, the “Valle Carbajal”. You will then reach the scenic Paso Garibaldi viewpoint from where you will get spectacular views of the lakes Escondido and Fagnano. Continue your way through the Fuegian forest and take the road that leads to the Fagnano Lake. You will then arrive at Ushuaia Blanca where you will enjoy a delicious Argentinian lunch. After this incredible experience, you will return to your accommodation.
